WATCH: Champions League review with CNN as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid progress

After eight rounds, a bundle of goals and a farewell to 12 teams, the Champions League group phase came off on Wednesday evening. Unfortunately for La Liga, Girona belonged to the bottom third of Europe for the rest of the season, but Spain did have three games progress.

Barcelona managed to finish second after a 2-2 draw with Atalanta, and with that progress at the round of 16. The care for Hansi Flick will be their defense, who with 13 goals the fourth-wore record of the teams Is that qualified.
