Zanetti says that Inter has now proves itself as a European heavyweight in the last five years.
He said to TRT Sport: “We are a great group, both on and off the field. Mr. Inzaghi brought his mentality, his ideas. We are very united, he really gives to do good, he shows a great feeling of connectedness.
“I believe that Inter has been competitive in all competitions in the last 4-5 years and we want to keep doing this. We are doing well, we wanted to end in the top eight. Wearing this shirt with a great history was very important for me.
“Able to spend my entire career here was a source of pride for me, because I was a captain, winning the Champions League, win so many trophies. I think that is the best moments I remember, especially for happiness of all our fans. “
