Mathys Tel is in favor of a loan movement in this window – and that can give Manchester United a lead over Tottenham and Arsenal.
United has opened conversations with Bayern and the player's representatives to try to get a deal for Monday's deadline. Bayern München Starlet Tel, 19, has told the Bundesliga giants that he wants to stop this month to get more regular playing time.
Tottenham has had a £ 50 million offer accepted by Bayern, but the player still has to accept the conditions and may not want to leave Munich permanently.
Arsenal is also one of the interested Premier League clubs, but they do not want to do a pure loan and prefer some sort of obligation if they want to support the player and integrate him.
United is also in the case and are ready to do a pure loan that may be with the player who wants to fit games, Old Trafford would be a huge switch and then he will also keep his long -term options open.
But there is increasingly the feeling that Tel Premier League is bound in this window – and now it is a case of true.
Bayern sports director Max Eberl insisted that every potential deal must work for them, whether that is a temporary or permanent one. He said: “Mathys is still a Bayern player. Accordingly, if he's there tomorrow, he will hopefully be looking for goals. That will remain the case at the moment. There is no new situation
“Mathys is a very gifted player, his move to Bayern was very good. Whether it is a loan or a sale, we will see. It must be suitable for all parties.”
United still has to sign a player during the January window, the first by Ruben Amorim in the Old Trafford Dugout. But that will change during the weekend with Lecce defender Patrick Dorgu who flies in for a medical one.
Arsenal also has to punish an arrival this month, but Mikel Arteta has insisted that they are ready to improve the team if the chance occurs. On Wednesday, the Gunners saw an ambitious offer for Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins knocked back. Villa is already ready to lose Jhon Duran, who has completed a move to Al-Nassr and it says that Watkins is not for sale.
Sverre Nypan was another player who was strongly connected to a switch to the Emirates, but it seems that the much -needed teenager will stay at Rosenborg for the rest of the season.
