Arsenal suffer another transfer blow as target ‘to stay for rest of the season’

The hope of Arsenal to add to their team before the transfer star closes in January, has taken a hit with the news that a top goal will stay in his club until the end of the season.

The North -London club is under pressure from supporters to strengthen before the window is closed on Monday evening, because they do not meet the standards of the previous campaign.

They have to bring in a player in January and saw a reported bid of £ 60 million for Ollie Watkins that was rejected by Aston Villa this week.

Rosenborg -Midfender Sverre Nypan was in London on Sunday evening prior to conversations with the Gunners and the proposed movement it was thought that he was gaining.

The Sister Club of Manchester City Girona also wants the midfielder, who only turned 18 last month.

David Ornstein of the athletics, however, reports that such a transfer will only take place in the summer.

The report claims that NYPAN is now expected to remain in Rosenborg for the rest of the season.

NYPAN made 24 performances last season, scored nine goals and registered five assists for the first team of Rosenborg.

In his 60 senior performances, he has registered an impressive 24 goals involvement as an attacking midfielder, including 13 goals and 11 assists.

The teenage debuted on November 6, 2022 for Rosenborg, starting in a league match against Jerv.

He became the youngest player ever to represent Rosenborg in 15 years and 322 days and is now a reliable starter for the club.

In May 2023 he became the youngest player who scored in a league match for them, just 16 years and 145 days old.
