Arne Slot can understand why Mo Salah has admirers in Saudi who wants to lure him to the middle.
The boss of Liverpool accepts that the sparkle of the Egyptian attacker means that everyone wants to sign their star man. Slot is still hopeful that Salah will sign a new deal in Liverpool to extend his stay further than this summer. But he knows that there will be other clubs that are desperate to land him on a free transfer this summer.
Saudi's sport minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki al-Faisal, unveiled this week in an interview with Piers Morgan how much he would like to bring Salah to the oil-rich state.
“It would surprise me if there was someone everywhere all over the world who said,” We don't want Mo Salah, “said Slot. “He is doing so well for so many years that everyone probably wants him.

Slot was asked to expand about what his advice would be for Salah, but did not offer many instructions apart from the obvious. He said: “What I mean by different is that everyone wants him, including us – we want him of course to extend. That is clear, but I am not surprised that Saudi wants him, but it would not surprise me if other countries also wanted him.
“He is old and wise enough and has done so many smart things in his career that he will make the right decision for himself and hopefully also for us.”
This summer Salah is not the only big name at Anfield from a contract with Virgil van Dijk and also Trent Alexander-Arnold in their last six months.
But ending remains reluctant to his own personal discussions with the trio. The Dutchman added: “The answer is of course that I speak with these players. I speak to them, not every day like Richard [Hughes, sporting director]But quite a lot.
“And it would be ridiculous that I spoke to these players in all times, we never spoke about the future.
