Jhon Duran has completed his mega money switch to Cristiano Ronaldos Al Nassr.
The Colombian striker leaves Aston Villa after two years at the Premier League club.
Duran has difficulty making a regular starting berth on Villa since he had become at Chicago Fire in 2023.
But he had an impact when he set 12 goals this season in 29 games for Villa, with most of those performances by the bank.
The 21-year-old joins Al Nassr with the club that is currently third in the Saudi Pro League.
In addition to Ronaldo, Duran plays together with the former Premier League star Sadio Mane and Aymeric Laporte.
Confirm the transfer, a statement of 58 words from Villa read: “Aston Villa can confirm that Jhon Durán has joined Al-Nassr for an unknown fee.
“The striker is moving to Saudi Arabia and scored 12 goals for Villa, including the winner against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
“Everyone at Aston Villa would like to wish Jhon the best in the next step of his professional career.”
Duran signed only a new contract with Villa in October.
After his exit, the men of Unai Emery were associated with a late Window movement for Marcus Rashford.
The Manchester United striker has pronounced his desire for a 'new challenge'.
Rashford has not been part of a United MatchDay team since 12 December.
Reports suggest that Villa is interested in bringing Rashford to the midlands in a deal for Monday's deadline.
But England's striker stands for a move to Barcelona.
Leaving Duran means that Ollie Watkins Villas is the only out-and-out striker that stays in the club.
Watkins was the subject of a £ 60 million approach to Arsenal earlier this week.
But after Villa had rejected the offer out of hand, Boss Emery, adamant Watkins.
Emery said Wednesday: “I don't want [to sell]. It is good news to have offers from other clubs.
“We want to keep our sporting objective by the players we have in the team.
“Every player can be on the market if all goes well for the player and the club. To get this deal we will demand. Watkins is our striker.”
