Tottenham enter race for Wolves’ target Kevin Danso

According to a report from Fabrice Hawkins, Tottenham Hotspur has entered the race to try to secure RC Lens Center-back Kevin Danso (26).

Tottenham takes a chance this winter to try to convince the defender to join them. Danso has been a target for various clubs in Europe during the current transfer window. Stade Rennais, Juventus and Aston Villa have all been associated with the defender who came through the reading and the Milton Keynes Academy.

The club that has appeared closest to securing Danso was Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Premier League side that fights to stay away from a relegation struggle has tried last month to convince the center-back to join them. Foot Mercato reported that Wolves had become the best placed club to sign Danso until the end of the season for a loan agreement.

Danso was almost left in the summer. His switch to AS Roma, however, collapsed when he failed his medical.
