Tottenham has announced the signing of Lens Center-back Kevin Danso (26). The Spurs have successfully hijacked Wolves' striving for the Austrian international center-back. Rennes was also interested in acquiring Danso. Danso has joined the Premier League side, established in Noord-London, with an obligation of € 25 million to make the deal permanently in the summer permanent. Danso will wear the No. 4 Jersey with the traces of Ange Postecoglou.
Danso had been close to an exit from Lens in the summer when the Artois side reached an agreement with AS Roma. However, he failed his medical with the Serie A side and has therefore still spent the last six months under the guardianship of Will. Danso will return to England after the 2019-2020 season on loan in Southampton. Danso is the second Lens Center-back to leave this winter to pursue his career in the Premier League, while Abdukodir Khusanov came to Manchester City in a € 50 million deal.
