Danso previously made 10 performances in English on loan in Southampton in 2019-2020, but he made his name with Lens, making the Ligue 1 team of the season in 2022-23 when they qualified for the Champions League.

He will offer competition in Center-Back, where Spurs have been without Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero in recent weeks.
