West Ham United scout La Liga striker with €30m asking price

Sevilla has done well to ward off the interest in their most important players, although there seems to be more from West Ham United. The Premier League side needs a new striker before the winter transfer window closes on Monday, and one of their options is currently his trade in the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.

Earlier in the window, Loic Bade rejected a move to Aston Villa, while there will also be no exit for Dodi Lukabakio, who is committed to staying in Sevilla at least until the end of the season. Los Nervionsen may have thought that this would be the end of a possible danger, but perhaps not.

According to El Chiringuito, West Ham had scouts present at Sevillen 0-0 draw on Getafe on Saturday afternoon, because they were there to walk the rule about Isaac Romero. The 24-year-old is head coach Garcia Pimienta's starting striker, although he has struggled this season with only two goals in 18 LA Liga performances.

It is very unlikely that Romero Sevilla will leave for Monday's deadline, while ED says that the club has taken the position not to negotiate with interested parties – as such he would only leave if his release clause of € 30 million was activated, Which seems very unlikely.

One Seville striker is already ready to leave the club, because Kelechi Iheanacho has been associated with a return to England in recent days. In the meantime, Akor Adams arrived earlier in the week from Montpellier and is expected to compete for the starting striker with Romero.

It was a busy winter transfer window for Seville and it has also been very successful. They have added to the team with the signing sessions of Ruben Vargas and Adams, while also retaining as Bade, Lukebakio and Romero.
