Paulo Fonseca takes the reign at Olympique Lyonnais for the first time while the club travels to be confronted with arch rivals Olympique de Marseille. Always a memorable game in the French calendar, but a game that has some extra herbs, since Fonseca was tried by Marseille at the end of last season before he came to AC Milan.
Fonseca watched Lyon's draw with Ludogrets in the Europa League over the week. The new head coach will probably only make a few changes from that side. The American midfielder Tanner Tessman will leave the line -up in favor of Nemanja Matic, who was associated with a departure from the club this winter.
In the front, Summer Signing Georges Mikautadze can be gestures when Alexandre Lacazette returns to the number nine position. Fonseca will not be able to rely on Malick Fofana who remains injured.
