Gary Neville labeled Arsenal defender Gabriel as 'disrespectful' after being seen laughing in the face of Manchester City Striker Erling Haaland in Sunday's 5-1 victory.
The Gunners went 1-0 in the Emirates Stadium in just the second minute thanks to the third goal of Martin Odegaard of the season.
After the ball had seen the back of the net hit the city, Gabriel happily ran on the field to celebrate with his teammates, pausing on the way to mock Haaland.
While Arsenal fans were currently enjoying social media, Sky Sports Pundit Gary Neville was less than impressed by the Brazilian's actions.
Speaking at the Gary Neville podcast, he said: 'I don't like it. I think it's a bit disrespectful. I know that Haaland here today is the pantomime villain, but there was something that I didn't like.
'I was many things, and that [winding others up] Was my game, but I never did that. I never went and screamed in the face of a player. I felt a bit uncomfortable. '
Sunday's game was the first meeting between City and Arsenal since their bad 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium in September.
Gabriel and Haaland both scored in that game before bumping late after following a last-minute equalizer of John Stones. Haaland threw the ball to Gabriel's head shortly after Stones saved a point for City in Matchweek Five.
The Norwegian frontman of City then told Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta famous to remain 'modest' because both sets of players and Staff were angry after the last whistle.
Gabriel apparently did not want to stay humble after the early goal of Odegaard on Sunday, instead enjoying the chance to celebrate as close as possible to Haaland.
Haaland had a short reason to celebrate later in the game after he went to city level in the 55th minute.
However, those parties were short -lived, because Thomas Peny recovered the lead of Arsenal only 105 seconds later.
Myles Lewis-Skelly then brought 3-1 for Arsenal when he scored his first goal for the club, before he celebrated the iconic meditation of Haaland.
Kai Havertz added a fourth for the home team before the replacement Ethan Nwaneri completed the score in stopping time.
Because Haaland Arteta and his Arsenal team have told to stay humble, the shape of the city has fallen terribly.
City had already won their opening of four Premier League matches prior to the September stalemate with the Gunners.
The men of Pep Guardiola have since won only eight of their next 19 league matches and lost seven.
