Tottenham is currently no running for Axel Disasi, despite the fact that a loan agreement with Chelsea has previously agreed, sources have confirmed that she is sporting.
It is therefore over to Aston Villa, who had the preference for Disasi.
The issue is Chelsea, see Villa as direct rivals for a Champions League place, so they would have preferred business with Tottenham.
Disasi, however, rejected a move to Spurs, who already signed one central defender this winter in the form of Austria International Kevin Danso.
Disasi has fallen out of grace under Enzo Maresca, who has transformed the blues since he took the lead in the summer.
The French defender is limited to only six performances in the Premier League, with the vast majority of his minutes in the Europa Conference League.
Disasi led Chelsea in November when they won 2-0 to Heidenheim in Germany.
He signed a six -year contract in August 2023 when he arrived at Stamford Bridge from Monaco in a £ 38.7 million deal.
Since then he has made 61 first team performances for the blues in all competitions.
