‘Never been the same’… Joe Rogan podcast guest takes credit for Israel Adesanya’s downfall

Israël Adesanya could not turn around in Riyad last Saturday evening.

The former two-time middleweight champion has arrived in his first non-title fight since 2019 with the intention of proving that he is still an elite contender at 185 pounds.

Israël Adesanya came in his main event against Bout against Nassourdine Imavov van France after Back-to-Back Title Fight Losing Sean Strickland and Dricus Du Plessis, who will fight UFC 312, after he has never lost successive fights during his MMA career before , but his losing line was extended to three in his octagonal return.

After his second round knockout loss for the #5-ranking competitor, there are already questions about what might be the next one for 'The Last Styleberder', where pension is not excluded.

Although some fans have debated the interruption of the fight that Adesanya himself protested, a member of the UFC grid has been given the honor for the switch that has turned his career.

Joaquin Buckley says that his demolition of Israel Adesanya has contributed to his fall in form

Joaquin Buckley believes that the breakdown he gave of the style of Adesanya played a role in the recent setbacks of the former champion.

'New Mansa' was a guest on the Joe Rogan experience in June last year, where he explained where he thinks Adesanya is vulnerable because of his dependence on one of his strongest attributes.

“Izzy is able to be finished in certain positions in which he has placed himself because there are many things he does because of his reach,” Buckley told the UFC commentator. “He leans back a lot to try to get away from bumps, right? But if you can find that corner and see the holes there because his body is there, his chin is available, you know, you can find that blow. ”

After the loss of Adesanya on Saturday evening, Buckley shared the clip with the insinuation that his defeats by Du Plessis and Imavov bring clear links back to his earlier comments.

“Once I gave my opinion on how I could beat Izzy on Jre, I feel that the Buddy career has never been the same again. Congratulations on Nassourdine, maybe we will run back in the future. “

Where does Israel Adesanya go?

It is difficult to predict what the next one could be for Israel Adesanya after his third consecutive loss in the middleweight division of the UFC, but he has already made it clear that he is not going anywhere.

A victory over Imavov would immediately have placed him back in the title photo and it is not as if the 35-year-old the fight also started particularly badly.

For the time being it seems more likely that the former champion will get off the title photo with the changes of his path with the 185-pound gold for the third time for the time being.

His former opponent, Marvin Vettori, has already called him for a trilogy collision that falls short in their two earlier meetings.

Adesanya does not want to fall into the pecking order, but there are still many suitable challenges for him in the middleweight if he wants to roll the dice again.
