Liverpool may secure late £10million deadline day transfer for forgotten man

Middlesbrough is trying to close a late deal for Liverpool -young Tyler Morton prior to the Transfer Deadline on Monday evening.

The Championship Club makes an offer for the Liverpool midfielder. It would be worth more than £ 10 million if bonuses and additions – supposed to be feasible – are activated.

Morton would like to get more football and is interested in the move. Bayer Leverkusen tried to sign him last summer, but the Reds held him. However, he did not make the kind of impact he had hoped under Arne Slot this period.

Morton did not make any Premier League performance, which did not appear in the team in one of the last eight games of the Reds and could only be seen once in the Champions League – the last group phase against PSV when Slot rested his big strikers, And even then was only a replacement. He made three competition cup performances, but was not selected in the semi-final defeat at Spurs.

He also wants to work and learn from Michael Carrick, the former midfielder of England and Manchester United, who is currently Boro -Baas.

Middlesbrough is currently seventh in the championship table and hopeful on promotion.

Morton would be reunited with Ben Doak, who enjoys a successful loan in the Riverside Stadium this season.
