Liverpool did not succeed in making no signing sessions in January, whereby Arne Slot remains more than satisfied with what he has on Anfield.
The Reds only bought back in one new face in the summer, which Federico Cheisa was, but the Italian hardly presented the Premier League leaders, because Slot maximizes the talent he inherited from Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool had little – or no – to connect the past four months, with their focus very much on the field. However, their hierarchy was willing to have different players leave, although they have already saved their most important names, even though they are linked to the movements.
The month started talking about a few head charges. Real Madrid's striving for Trent Alexander-Arnold is well documented with the right back that signed a new deal. His departure seems to look more likely with every passing week, and it will now be free.
The Reds chose to reject an offer of Real, which is thought to be in the £ 20 million region. The Spanish side wanted to land him cheaply, but will undoubtedly try to run his head in the coming months with the two parties that could speak.
Mohamed Salah also has to sign a new deal and Saudi -Arabia has openly talked about landing his services. Al-Hilal is the most likely destination, but no movement has been made. Darwin Nunez was another attacker connected to a switch to the middle -east.
Again, although Liverpool chose to hold their player, the club is much more likely to revise their options in the summer.
Tyler Morton was the subject of a Deadline Day offer from Middlesbrough, but they could not reach an agreement to land the Academy star, who will remain in Anfield. Three men who were allowed to leave on a temporary basis – one is Stefan Bajcetic who goes to Las Palmas.
Kaide Gordon, who previously praised Jurgen Klopp, goes to Portsmouth. Calvin Ramsey was signed a few years ago, but went back north of the border and will spend the rest of the season in Kilmarnock. Dominic Corness will play the campaign in Gillingham.
The two permanent outputs were both free transfers. Goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga has moved to Fluminense with Welsh U21 International Thomas Hill on his way to League Two Side Harrogate Town.
