Cristiano Ronaldo has ruled rumors about a fairytale return to Real Madrid after he has admitted that he is missing the club and declares that 'Spain is my home'.
Ronaldo spent almost a decade in the Bernabeu and scored 451 times in 438 games for the Spanish giants.
He won four Champions League titles with the club and received the Ballon d'Or prize four times during his time there. The global superstar left for Juventus in 2018 before he came to Manchester United with Manchester United three years later.
Now in Saudi Aarabia with all Nassr, the Portuguese have continued to score targets with a spectacular rate while he is approaching his 40th birthday this week. And for that milestone, Ronaldo has revealed that his time with Madrid with the best of his career.
He also sheds light on who attracts the attention of his children under the current crop.
'Spain is my home, my children grew up there. There I was happiest in football, I will always have Madrid in my heart, “he told Marca. 'I have done some really nice things and people don't forget it.
'The younger children look at me on YouTube, I keep scoring, my parties … people touch. I come home and Mateo looks at YouTube and looks at players.
'He likes it [Jude] Bellingham, he likes it [Eduardo] Camavinga, [Kylian] Mbappe … he teases me by saying that he is better than me. '
Ronaldo has scored 21 goals in 24 performances for Al Nassr, who themselves are eight points on drift from the Saudi Pro competition leaders Al Hilal and Al Ittihad. The club signed the tent for Jhon Duran for £ 64 million from Aston Villa while trying to protect a first league title since the arrival of Ronaldo.
