The transfer window of January is closed without much drama and for the large weapons of the Premier League the attention has already been shifted to their summer recruitment.
And that certainly seems to be much more interesting.
Arsenal's need for a new center-forward remains, Mikel Arteta wanted a replacement for Gabriel Jesus this month, but after he had missed Ollie Watkins, he decided to stand Pat. Chelsea remains Chelsea. Liverpool, after a year of rest, confronted with probably unrest with three of their biggest stars months away from becoming free agents.
The position of Manchester City remains uncertain until the outcome of their 115 charges is revealed, while Manchester United has to renew their team despite the fact that they have little money to spend. Ruben Amorim needs major changes, but after only one senior signing in January, he will have to wait for his time until the summer.
And although there are still plenty of turns before the window reopens, we already have an idea with some of the names that are certainly in the middle of their own sagas. Here are 12 players who dominate the headlines.
Alexander Isak
Newcastle should certainly be eligible for the Champions League if they want to hold the Sweden star who enjoys a beautiful campaign. Arsenal has been enthusiastic and Mikel Arteta may see him as his ideal no. 9.
The tone still has to bind him to a new deal, after he has chosen to select Anthony Gordon's contract this year, with PSR problems that are suspected that Isak has to wait until the next series of accounts. If the magpies fail to the top four (or probably five) and do not claim a place to the next term of European football, ISAK expects.
Viktor Gyokees
The best target of Manchester United to resolve their goals. Ruben Amorim brought the countryman of Isak to a new level at Sport and the only real question mark is whether United has enough money to close a deal.
Amorim agreed to poach any of his old players in January – a men's agreement that was made when exchanging Lisbon for Manchester – but that will not be the case in the summer.
Gyokees is perhaps the ideal no. 9 that the ailing Red Devils desperately need. But can others, Arsenal or Chelsea Chief take a step among them? It would certainly be logical if he was also on their shortlist.
Benjamin Sesko
A long-term target of Arsenal's, the Slovenian RB Leipzig will leave at the end of the campaign, with a release clause of £ 55 million that kicks in the summer in the summer in the summer.
The big question for the Gunners is whether they prefer Isak at a much higher price. There is no chance that they have both countries.
Mo Salah
Does he remain or is he going? If the latter can be a spectacular, silverware-loaded conclusion for an Anfield legend.

Trent Alexander-Arnold
It will hurt Liverpool if the star's star leaves without a pound of 'pure profit', but it looks less and less likely that he will sign a new deal. If his heart is on Real Madrid, he will earn much more there as a free agent.
In the meantime, Liverpool will have to be creative to find a replacement for a player with few comparisons. Arne Slot and the transfer heads of the club have to do some smart things to replace the qualities of Alexander-Arnold. And, just like Salah, that will cost smart company.
Marcus Rashford
So many questions, so few indications about what the answers will be.
If his loan to Aston Villa goes well, will they look to sign him permanently? What does that mean for the spending capacity of both clubs in the rest of the window? If not, can he ever go back in the plans of Ruben Amorim at Manchester United? And someone else will take the trouble to take a step for a player who has to prove many doubters incorrectly.
Rashford has a huge four months in Villa Park. How he does it and what comes after this will play a major role this summer in both the spending plans of United and Villa.
Chelsea investigated the possibility of bringing him back to Stamford Bridge and Newcastle this winter remains great admirers. Crystal Palace insisted that their captain was not going anywhere, but history suggests that they might not be able to grab him in the summer – although they should really make a healthy win on one of the best defenders in England.
Tottenham made a huge selection in the closing times of the January window, and the race also promises to be intense at the end of the season.
Florian Wirtz
Undoubtedly the best player in the Bundesliga At the moment the German maker seems ready to leave Bayer Leverkusen, but does he choose Bayern Munich or is he going abroad?
Arsenal looked at him earlier, but it would be a challenge to fit him in the same team as Martin Odegaard, while Liverpool might be an option. However, smart money is on a switch to La Liga, unless he follows the well -hit path to Bavaria.
Bryan Mbeumo
Probably the next cabin of the rank in Brentford, the Cameroon International, is excellent for the men of Thomas Frank this period, really through and he steps up as the most important threat after the exit of Ivan Toney.
If Salah Liverpool leaves, Mbeumo could make a switch to Merseyside and in theory an ideal replacement – the same position, the same direct and ruthless left foot – but Newcastle are among the other parties who have previously been spoken as admirers.
There will be no shortage of customers if he is indeed available – and it will be interesting to see how the bees splash the money to replace it.
Antoine Semenyo
Bournemouth's Star Man is another seen as a potential option to fill the huge hole that has been left by Salah.
However, the cherries are under pressure to sell, so he will cost a lot of money and assumes that larger clubs turn to the former Bristol City man or will they have questions about whether this striking campaign is a flash in the pan ?
Justin Kluivert
Recently linked to Newcastle – perhaps inevitably his hat trick in St James' Park recently – the Dutchman has been one of the many radiant lights for Andoni Iraola after adapting to a new central role, which largely misunderstood during his career so far as a Wide player.
It will not be cheap, but is very popular at different clubs. A strong end of the season can convince the members of the elite to make their move.
Kevin De Bruyne
This has been his most disappointing campaign in a shirt from Manchester City. No longer a guaranteed first -team player for Pep Guardiola, the MLS may be calling – something the Belgian has admitted that he is interested.
City will have money again in the low season to spend and if De Bruyne creates a gap in their team, then they might be large players on the market again – especially as incoming sports director Hugo Viana wants to leave his mark.
