Paul Merson says that Ruben Amorim's job at Manchester United could be at the end if Marcus Rashford succeeds in Aston Villa.
Rashford moved out of Old Trafford during the weekend and signed for Aston Villa on loan from until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old did not play for United since their victory over Viktoria Plzen in the mid-December and was connected to a move to AC Milan and Barcelona before he finally made the switch to Villa Park on Sunday.
It will be the first time that Rashford plays for someone other than the Red Devils who have made 426 first team performances for the club since 2016.
And Merson insists that Amorim's task could be at stake if Rashford rediscovers its shape at Villa and Manchester United, who had a different defeat of the house in the hands of Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Merson thinks Rashford will be determined to prove Amorim incorrectly and that it can be expensive for the Portuguese manager at Old Trafford.
