Tyrell Malacia has completed a loan from Man United to Dutch Side PSV until the end of the season.
The relocation of the full-back comes almost 24 hours after the Deadline English transfer had passed, but the Eredivisie parties had until the end of Tuesday to complete their deals.
Only a few hours before the deadline, the club confirmed that the 25 -year -old – who made 47 performances for United – was affiliated with a deal until the end of the season.
Malacia said to the club website: 'I am happy to be here. Finally play football again. I come back from a long injury, but I am now fit and know that my time will come again.
'In every difficult period there are also positive elements and in this case it is that I have become much stronger physically and mentally.
'I have more patience, am more mature, know my body better and things like that. I am ready to go and hopefully to win different prizes with PSV. '
He came to United in a £ 13 million transfer from Feyenoord in 2022 and was contracted until the end of next season.
A united statement was: 'Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia will spend the rest of the 2024-25 season in loan with Eredivisie Side PSV Eindhoven.
'After he had worked hard to rebuild his fitness and match the sharpness, Malacia returned this campaign to action earlier and Dutch International played eight times under Ruben Amorim.
“It has been agreed that Tyrell will now connect for the rest of this season with the side of Peter Bosz in his home country.”
The Holland International saw a move to Benfica at the weekend – after he had already said goodbye to teammates together with Marcus Rashford.
Malacia was set up to become a member of the Portuguese club, but Benfica could not agree with the loan costs and buy option conditions that United had demanded.
The 25-year-old has also been interested in Celtic and Real Betis.
