Man Utd’s Malacia makes Eredivisie return with PSV loan move

Tyrell Malacia from Manchester United will spend the rest of the season on loan to defending Eredivisie Champions PSV.

Malacia joined United of Feyenoord during the first transfer window of Erik ten Hag at the helm in 2022 and played 22 league games in his first campaign at Old Trafford.

However, he underwent a knee operation in 2023 and spent 18 months on the sidelines, so he finally returned his first team against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League in November.

But after the Deadline-Day acquisition of Patrick Dorgu van Lecce, Baas Ruben Amorim has chosen to enable Malacia to rediscover his peak condition elsewhere.

PSV, Champions under Peter Bosz last season, are currently two points free from Ajax at the top of the Eredivisie table, although they have played an extra match.
