The Premier League is said to be set to check the celebrations of football players and may be able to punish them if they are considered 'critical or mocking'.
The development comes after Myles Lewis-Skelly was criticized for imitating the famous Erling Haaland meditation after the young person scored the third goal in a 5-1 victory over Manchester City in the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
The 18-year-old, however, reportedly struck after the Norwegian at the end of the 2-2 draw between the teams in the Etihad Stadium last year by asking: “Who are you?”
According to Sky Sports, the regulations can come into effect after several players have been criticized because of their parties, which caused the reputation of the game damaged and possibly caused fans of opposition teams.
Furthermore, the main football officer of the Premier League, Tony Scholes, said: 'There is a balance. I think we all like to see parties.
'Some parties are very funny, entertaining, but there is a line. As soon as it turns into spot or criticism, we should deal with it. '
Leicester City captain Jamie Vardy is known for his spot celebrations after he had added an insult to Tottenham last month, scored a goal and then points to his Premier League badge, ridiculous for Spurs' Trophy Room.
The gesture was expected to ensure that the stadium exploded in the insults of the fans, who were reminded of the close attempt on their side to win the competition in 2015-16 when the Lily Whites had their best attempt to lift the trophy.
Two years ago Vardy Wolves mocked in a 4-0 in the Molineux stadium by crying to the home fans after scoring his goal in the 79th minute.
In 2019 he mocked famous Crystal Palace supporters in Selhurst Park by simulating an eagle. However, he did not receive a yellow or red card for his actions.
This year, however, James Maddison and Neal Maupay had a rivalry on the field after the Brentford Forward mocked the Spurs midfielder by copying his famous darts that was celebrated next to Ivan Toney.
This gesture caused a heated exchange at the end of the game and more comments about social media from both athletes.
The Tottenham star posted a photo of Maupay on his Instagram who did the celebration, in addition to the caption: 'A short story … Coys'.
Maupay said under Maddison's message: 'Ahaha Rent Free', with kissing emojis.
Liverpool -striker Darwin Nunez was also spotted two years ago with mocking Marcus Rashford's celebration by putting his index finger on the side of his head -a gesture that went viral during the top run of the Englishman in 2022-23.
In the last campaign Alejandro Garnacho imitated the feast of Mohammed Kudus when the West Ham player was on the billboard for fans in the London Stadium.
At the moment it is also known that Iliman Ndiaye was booked for fluttering his arms as a seagull when he scored the only goal for Everton against Brighton in Goodison Park in January.
Lewis-Skelly did not receive a yellow card, but Jamie Carragher later criticized him and revealed that he was not impressed by his gesture.
He said: “I said about football arrogance on the field and I thought it was great. I didn't like this because he is a young player who mimics Haaland and takes the Mick.
“I know what Haaland said, but he is a young player and we are all dragged along as young players. It's a huge moment for him. '
