The Al Nassr striker scored twice in a 4-0 win over Monday on Monday, so that his career goals count to an amazing 923. CR7 turns 40 on Wednesday and shows no sign of delay. He remains one of the most clinical and most worshiped players in the world.
His fans gather on Wednesday at the New York time gap to celebrate Ronaldo's birthday and to try a huge world record. Proponents want to break the record for most people who enable Ronaldos 'Siu' celebration.
The celebration has become an iconic part of CR7's on-field Persona and now follows almost every goal he scored. The crowd often replicates the 'sui' sound and it is now its trademark. The world record attempt was organized by the Portuguese artist Sergio Furnari, who currently publishes his 'Cristiano Ronaldo Monument', a 12-foot metal statue of his countryman.
On Instagram, Furnari said: “February 5, if you like Ronaldo, come on the Tijdplein to celebrate. It's his 40th birthday, don't miss it. We are going to beat the world record of the 'Siu' celebration! “
However, Ronaldo will not be present for the celebration in his milestone. His already Nassr side is back in action in the Saudi Pro League on Friday, when they take on Al Feiha. Stefano Piolos Al Nassr are still eight points of competition leaders already Hilal and Al Ittihad.
