Legend Alan Shearer from Newcastle called Ian Wright after Alexander Isak played a leading role in the semi-final Triumph about Arsenal of the Magpies' Carabao Cup about Arsenal.
Isak, who has been repeatedly associated with the Gunners in recent months, impressed the defensive duo of Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba.
The Swedish striker seemed to have given Newcastle a fourth minute ahead in the night with a nice finish, only to be ruled out of the side.
Isak then played a crucial role in the final opener of Newcastle, who contributed to their 2-0 aggregated lead.
The attacker saw the Arsenal Post for a 19th minute strike to be introduced by Jacob Murphy aan de Rebound.
Isak, who had scored in the first stage, continued to play a crucial role when Eddie Howe's side decreases the final of the following month with Anthony Gordon who scored their second on the night and fourth.
Newcastle's record goal scorer Shearer praised Isak's display against the much -praised defensive partnership of Arsenal by Gabriel and Saliba.
Shearer took the opportunity to taunt former Arsenal Wright in a message on social media.
'Hey @Ianwright0 talks to me about our boy Isak against your 2 Centerbacks !!! #Newars, 'shearer posted.
He added: 'That was a good performance man. Arsenal could not live with the intensity.
“Better than them in every position tonight.”
It is the second time in three seasons that the Magpies reached the final of this competition after they have been defeated by Manchester United in 2023.
The side of Eddie Howe will focus on a first large domestic trophy in 70 years next month.
Newcastle will now be confronted with Liverpool or Tottenham in the final in Wembley on 16 March.
The two parties play their second stage on Thursday in Anfield, with Spurs One Goal Up from the first stage.
