Dricus du Plessis and Sean Strickland trade insults at wild UFC 312 press conference

The two men exchanged words before they enter the Octagon for the second time.

Dricus Du Plessis and Sean Strickland come in a rematch in the main event of UFC 312 this Saturday evening in the Qudos Bank Arena.

In the run -up to their first meeting at UFC 297 last year, the press conference reached the headlines after the South African seemed to be a nerve of talking to his waste.

Strickland, who is often the one who does most of the conversation, apparently lost their first verbal exchange and Come Fight Night, his middleweight title Reign came to an end.

All eyes were aimed at their second press conference on the way to 8 February to see which man would prevail on the microphone to set the tone for Fight Night in Sydney, Australia.

Sean Strickland and Dricus du Plessis act insults prior to UFC 312 Rematch

The press conference for UFC 312 did not see the same intensity that previously existed between Dricus du Plessis and Sean Strickland.

'Still Knocks' believes that there is a mutual respect between them now that they have fought against each other for 25 minutes, but that did not stop them from exchanging a few insults.

For a moment it seemed that Strickland would land the most memorable blow of pressure, so that the uncomfortable fighting style of Du Plessis would come out of the belief and at the same time praised him.

“Let me tell you something about the Dutchman, which by the way is a cool nickname, this man fights like AR – – in a short bus and hey, Dricus, I respect you for that because you fight as AF – – Maniak! But I won that fight and I will win this fight, so f— saddle and let's get it done! “

In his championship government, Du Plessis has proven that he is now one of the funniest trash on the Roster.

Instead of attacking Strickland emotionally on this occasion, he went against a slick line about the new face hair of the Challenger that he brings in the Rematch.

“Yes, I fight like someone in the short bus, but you look like the driver … you can't do any more children with that look anymore.”

Sean Strickland: “Dricus fights as AR*Tard in a short bus.”

Dricus Du Persis: “I fight like someone in a short bus, but you look like the driver … you are no longer allowed to go to children with that look anymore.” 😭😭 #ufc312 #ufc #mmapic.twitter.com/jokmqiwsho

Dricus Du Persis knows what he stands for

Despite the fact that Dricus Du Plessis was fired at UFC 297 before their encounter, nothing changed between them or happened before the fight changed the way Sean Strickland fought.

Because both men now know what is capable of each other, there are not many surprises this time and the respect that exists between them would probably lead to a more preserved structure.

Strickland will always talk and make daring statements, but the defending champion has now seen that it will not change his mentality that comes into the fight.

Du Plessis knows what he can expect from his challenger, so that this time he could get his foot off the gas with regard to the verbal exchanges.
