Hollywood A-lister helps Wrexham team practice their ‘celebration dances’

Wrexham has been quickly one of the most tradable brands in football lately, and as such a Hollywood A-Lister now has a surprising performance in an advertisement, the team of the League One-Kant.

Wrexham broke the boundaries for what a British audience would expect from a club that was only recently promoted from non-League football and worked its way to the English ladder.

Thanks to their famous co-owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mcelhenney, the club got a huge following in the United States and even went through the Atlantic Ocean on a pre-season tour.

Their turnout has been the subject of a documentary, entitled Welcome to Wrexham, and in their latest controversial appearance the players of the club appeared in an advertisement alongside Hollywood legend Channing Tatum.

The advertisement, for a cold brewed coffee company, sees Tatum the Wrexham dressing room coming in before the team gives a lesson about their 'celebration dances', with more than a small nod to his previous films Magic Mike and Step Up.

'Okay guys! Your bosses are not happy with your party dancing, 'Tatum starts, after some gymnastics.

“So drink up …” he adds and throws a bottle of the drink to the players. “Try to keep up with it.”

The actor then bursts out in a routine inspired by Magic Mike, before they tighten his ships into a star striker Steven Fletcher, and say: “The most important thing: eye contact.”

The clip then sees Tatum continuing the show with various acrobatic movements, including a head position, while advising his audience.

“They saw you score, let them feel that you score”, and to goalkeeper Mark Howard: “You have the gloves – use them now. Okay, you have it? '

The Wrexham players then show Tatum what they have learned from his demonstrations, and having a sip of the drink, before the actor answers a phone call from an anonymous number to say: 'Okay, Doc? They are ready, 'before they participate.

Manager Phil Parkinson also appears too late and walks into the dressing room to find his charges dancing with tatum, with something of a disapproving look on his face.

The clip ends with another kink to Tatum's magic Mike Fame, thrown in his face with a shirt and a worried look over his face.

'No, no! I promised Rob and Ryan that I would keep it stylish! Everyone has turned on your clothes again! '

Wrexham has earned back-to-back promotions to be in League One this season and is still flourishing under the leadership of Parkinson's.

The Welsh outfit has drawn a number of big names to their ranks despite their humble standing in the ladder, with former England -international Jay Rodriguez signed in January from Burnley.

They are now on the hunt for promotion to the championship, are eight points behind runners Birmingham, who still have two games.

Because of their next outing, she will take on Bolton Wanderers in a quarterfinals of the EFL trophy for a return to the competition and a trip to the city of Northampton.
