Amorim: Everyone at Man Utd fighting for their jobs

Ruben Amorim believes that everyone at Manchester United is fighting for their work and accepts that he will soon have to supervise a revival in the results of the Red Devils.

Amorim did not succeed in having an immediate impact since he had taken the reins in Old Trafford in November, with United Songishing in 13th place in the Premier League.

After taking only 14 points of 13 league games under Amorim, United is closer to the relegation zone (12 points) than with the top four (14).

In the meantime, after the 2-0 house loss on Sunday before Crystal Palace, Amorim has lost five of his seven Premier League matches at Old Trafford.

These are more home reports than Jose Mourinho in two and a half years ago as United Boss (four out of 46 games) and no fewer than Louis van Gaal recorded in two seasons (5/38).

United spent a total of £ 21.4 million to replace Erik ten Hag with Amorim, but the former sporty CP boss does not think that this matters if United continues to struggle and reporters tells: “We fight for our jobs until the summer. I just concentrate on these games.

“I knew that when I chose this profession that you have the risk of the results. I knew that when I came here.

“I looked at the schedule, I looked at the team and I understood that my decision to change everything, to make these hard decisions in the middle of the season – without new signing sessions – is a danger for a coach.

“But since day one, with good results or poor results, I have a clear idea what I want to do and I take these risks because I eventually think it will bear fruit.

“I am not naive. I have often said that this is a sports sport and that we are in a difficult situation.”

United was quiet in the middle season transfer window, where he only brought in the 20-year-old left back Patrick Dorgu and the 18-year-old center-back Ayden Heaven, while Marcus Rashford, Antony and Tyrell Malacia could leave.

The Red Devils were strongly connected to Mathys Tel – who came to the Deadline day at Tottenham – and criticized because he did not sign a striker, but Amorim says it was his idea to wait until the end of the season.

“The club takes its time,” said Amorim. “We know the urgency of the team, but I think everyone here doesn't want to make the same mistakes as in the past.

“We have to improve the players we have, win a number of games and then we will see in the summer.

“We are really careful with transfers because we have made mistakes in the past. We want something different in our team and that is my area, so it was my decision to do that.”

Rashford was the most controversial departure from United and joined Aston Villa in a loan agreement, and Amorim-Die repeatedly criticized his attitude-is relieved that he will no longer be asked about the attacker.

“Happy about Marcus, he is now in Birmingham, with Unai [Emery]”He said.” You can accept the questions for these months to another coach. “
