Roberto De Zerbi responds to Paul Pogba to Marseille links

Since the announcement that the football ban of Paul Pogba (31) has been shortened, the Frenchman has been linked to many clubs, especially Olympique de Marseille. Roberto De Zerbi responded on Saturday evening after OM's victory over RC Lens on the left.

Pogba saw his lengthy four-year ban reduced to 18 months last month. CAS's ruling means that the former Manchester United midfielder can return to action in March 2025. He had indicated that he wanted to stay at Juventus, and even suggested that he would take a pay cut to do so. The Serie A giants recently ended their contract by mutual consent.

This leaves the French international free to discuss a new contract with other clubs. According to ESPN, Pogba wants to stay in Europe and sign for a club in one of the top five divisions, opening the door for a move to Marseille. Patrice Evra has been public and persistent in his efforts to facilitate a move to the Vélodrome for his former teammate.

The Zerbi itself has now responded to the links. “I like strong players, but for the time being there is nothing,” the Italian told BeIn Sports.
