Mary Fowler yielded a winner of the 95th minute to forward Manchester City to the Women's League Cup final with a 2-1 victory over Arsenal.
Arsenal claimed a 4-3 victory over the city only five days earlier in the Women's Super League, but the visitors took revenge to create a confrontation with Chelsea in Derby's Pride Park Stadium on Saturday 15 March.
City was without striker Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw after she withdrew from their competition team after the suffering of racist and misogynistic abuse on Sunday.
Fowler stood up in her absence and shot past the goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar along the 26th minute, although the hosts soon returned through the penalty of Mariona Caldentey.
The Australia striker then had the opportunity to restore the city's lead during the second half from 12 meters, although her place had saved Kick.
Fowler, however, redeemed himself by scoring a dramatic late winner who found the top right corner to send the city.
Chelsea reaches the first final under Bompastor
Chelsea reached their first final under Sonia Bompastor with a 2-0 win over West Ham.
Johanna Rytting Kanyd shot in the opening goal on the 20th minute before Sjoeeke Nusken doubled the Blues lead nine minutes later.
Vivianne Asseyi came close to halving the Hammers shortage in the first half, but her free kick rattled the upright.
Chelsea continued to limit West Ham to very little domination after the break to secure them in a sixth consecutive competition cup final.
