Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca insists that he is happy with the club's company in the middle season transfer window despite a lack of large income at Stamford Bridge.
Midfielder Mathis Amougou was the only signing of the club made in January, while Joao Felix, Ben Chilwell, Renato Veiga and Axel Disasi were released, with efforts to streamline Maresca's team.
Recent injuries sustained by Nicolas Jackson and Marc Guiu can raise further questions why Chelsea did not pursue an attacker.
Chelsea was connected to Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, but Maresca is not sorry about how the club dealt with the window and believes that he can find solutions within his group.
“I said after the West Ham game the things we had planned, in terms of players who had the desire to leave and the players we needed,” said Maresca.
“In the end I think we did all the things we needed. Before the last game we had two strikers, Nico and Marc.
'Sometimes we also adapt to Christopher [Nkunku] There, but in case they are both out, we will find a different solution. “
The loan from Joao Felix is moving to AC Milan and the current injuries situation in the front can lead to more possibilities for Nunku, where Maresca confirms that the Frenchman will receive minutes.

He said: “I already spoke about Christo last week.
“He has been playing against West Ham for more or more for half an hour. From now on he can hopefully get a little more minutes and help us.”
