UFC 312 saw Dricus du Persis Sean Strickland's nose break on route to a decision victory in their medium -sized title Rematch.
The first meeting of the couple on UFC 297 is perhaps more favorable by history than it was actually in the night. A collision of heads, in the day, leaves the pair of bloody and sporty large scars that indicated more a war in five rounds than the actual split decision.
This time, Du Plessis had guaranteed a KO, while the Trickland's brand Trash Talk had matched the viewers with huge intrigues. And on one night of fast KOs and stops, the couple had much to realize in the main event.

Eventually the belt remained in South Africa when Du Plessis won on the cards across the board and put an end to the long feud of their couple.
