Gabriel Santos conquered a thunderous main kick in the first round to achieve a wild stop win on UFC 312.
UFC Feedweight Gabriel Santos and Jack Jenkins treated fans to a wild affair at the UFC 312 Prelims. Santos vs. Jenkins was the recommended prelimbout after a few fight dependence forced the matchmakers to shift the order of the event.
Jenkins was the favorite of the Arena in Sydney after an impressive start of the UFC career of the Australians. Early Jenkins gave the crowd a lot to scream in the first minutes, while he was flat with a main kick.
After he had dropped Santos, Jenkins appeared to finish the fight with ground and pound in round 1. But Santos used his slick grab to suppress Jenkins on the mat, and almost caught Jenkins in a triangle stick.

Gabriel Santos Rallies to numb Jack Jenkins to close UFC 312 prelims
Santos' confidence flourished when the action progressed. After a back and forth round 2, Santos landed a Bullseye front kick on the face of Jenkins who heavily staggered the Australian in the last minutes.
After he had brought Jenkins to the ground, Santos sank in a coded choke to complete the wonderful comeback victory. He is a top candidate for a bonus after the fight after UFC 312.
Santos, a top protection from former UFC champion Charles Oliveira, comes in his physical prime and comes from the biggest victory of his career. Before UFC 312 he defeated Yizha by a unanimous decision in September after dropping his first two fights in the Octagon.
Gabriel Santos is a featherweight to keep an eye on after UFC 312
Santos put himself on the Radar of the UFC after winning the LFA Featherweight Tournament Championship with a liver punch on LFA 151 in 2023. He dropped his UFC debut to striking competition Lerphy Murphy for a third round knockout defeat against David Onama .
Jenkins, a former Dana White's Contender Series -striking, has now lost two of his last three fights in the Octagon. He won his first two UFC fights about Don Shainis and Jamall Buckers before a loss of an injury for Chepe Mariscal.
Santos vs. Jenkins declined a wild provisional card on UFC 312. The event started with a knockout of 19 seconds, so that UFC fans debated the interruption of the referee.
