Sean Strickland suffered a broken nose after Dricus du Plessis got a huge blow during the UFC 312 Main Event.
Former UFC Middleweight Champion Sean Strickland's offer in repayment against Dricus du Plessis fell short at UFC 312 in Sydney. Despite finding some early success with his boxing, he was unable to repair some of the mistakes he made in their first fight, while Du Plessis won the coast of a unanimous decision.
Halfway through the UFC 312 headliner, Du Plessis left the face of Strickland a bloody mess while landing a varied series of attacks. One punch landed square to Strickland's nose, which broke him and breathed strickland out of his mouth for the rest of the fight.
After Du Plessis landed the big blow that broke the nose of Strickland, Strickland improvised and tried to reset it quickly when Du Persis pushed forward. Between the rounds, Strickland told his corner: “It is broken, I reset it.” When his coaches asked for his nose.

Dricus Du Plessis called on a surprising name after the UFC 312 winning
After postponing Strickland for the second time, Du Plessis is probably able to face the unbeaten Khamzat Chimaev for his next middleweight title defense. But despite the fact that Chimaev is an obvious callout -Du Plessis chose to call a superstar that will return next month.
In his interview after the fight with Daniel Cormier, Du Persis UFC shouted light weight champion Alex Pereira.
“Is there no one else?! Is there no one else !!!!” Du Persis explained.
Pereira returns to defend his UFC Light Heavyweight title next month on UFC 313 against Magomed Ankalaev. In the run -up to UFC 312, Strickland Pereira claimed 'du plessis'.
After Du Plessis had completed Israel Adesanya on UFC 305, Pereira hinted on a middleweight return to a cryptic social media post. Pereira has no participation in middleweight since a knockout loss for Adesanya at UFC 287.
If du plessis can pass Chimaev, a movement to light heavyweight can be on the table. Anyway, the South African continues to silence his opponents while getting closer to becoming a UFC legend.
