Aston Villa plotting summer moves for two Villarreal stars

Aston Villa has set their sights on the La Liga market in recent years, and it is expected that their focus will take place in the summer. Head coach Unai Emery and sports director Monchi are both very familiar with Spanish football, so it may be no surprise that the Premier League side is investigating this.

They succeeded in recruiting this market in January when Restback Andres Garcia was affiliated with Segunda side Levante. However, they also missed several goals, because the movements for Loic Bade and Juan Foyth broke during the winter transfer window.

Aston Villa, however, has decided not to be deterred and a renewed approach is expected to be done in the summer. According to TBR Football, they will renew their interest in Foyth, while Villarreal teammate Alex Baena is also on their list of goals.

Foyth became the target of Aston Villa after they had missed Bade. A deal might have looked in one phase, but in the end it was excluded. Nevertheless, Emery seems to be determined with the player he brought from Tottenham Hotspur to Villarreal in October 2020.

Baena is a long -term objective for Aston Villa, and Villarreal is expected to be open to offers during the summer transfer window. Earlier this month, the 23-year-old playmaker pointed out a large move to Al Ahli, who gives hope to the rest of his lovers, who also includes Atletico Madrid.

It seems that it is again a busy summer for Villarreal, who have regularly sold their esteemed assets in recent years. Foyth and Baena can be the newest to go and become a member of the will of Filip Jorgensen, Samuel Chukwueze and Nicolas Jackson to have left La Ceramica for meadows new. In the meantime, both players are aimed at the rest of the season.
