
Jhon Duran has made an electric start of life in Saudi Arabia after his £ 72 million move to Al-Nassr from Aston Villa in the January transfer star.
Duran, 21, was sold to the side -based side in what came as a shock movement to many, given that he was impressed in the first half of the campaign under Uni Emery.
After having scored 10 goals over 27 games – of which 23 saws introduced as a replacement – Duran was soon considered one of the best young strikers in Europe.
Duran signed for Villa from Chicago Fire in January 2023 and made 78 performances for the club.
But just as he seemed to make a regular starter for the villains, he was discharged to Al-Nassr, the Saudi Pro League side with people like Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane and Aymeric Laporte.
The Colombian international has learned impressively with his teammates since the switch and scored four goals in his first two games for the club.
Duran scored a brace on his full debut for his new employers, so she swept aside Al-Fayha 3-0.
He continued his hot streak and helped himself on Wednesday to two more goals to guide Al-Nassr along Ivan Toney's Al-Ahli-with the England striker also his own goal.
Al-Nassr is currently third in the Saudi Pro League, two points behind Al-Hilal and four points on leaders Al-Eittihad.
The side of Dhuran is also guaranteed from a knock -out place in the AFC Champions League, after he has won five of their seven games in the group stage.
The hot streak of the striker comes when he admitted that he felt rigstruck by playing in the same team as Cristiano Ronaldo.
Speaking after his first match for Al-Nassr, Duran said: 'It feels like I'm playing the FIFA career mode. I four goals with Cristiano Ronaldo! '
