Lisandro Martinez has undergone an operation to restore his torn front cruciate ligament.
The Argentinian defender of Manchester United raised the seasonal injury in the 2-0 defeat by Crystal Palace in Old Trafford on 2 February.
At the time, the club said that the assessment of the issue was underway 'to determine the correct treatment'.
