Vinicius Junior communicates three demands to Real Madrid for new contract

Earlier this week it was reported that Real Madrid had called the agents of Vinicius Junior to find out their demands for a new contract, and they now have their response. President Florentino Perez is doing well.

Los Blancos had not planned to start contract discussions with Vinicius until the end of the season, where the Brazilian had rejected conversations in September and had the feeling that he could get a better contract if he continued to prove himself. The revelation that Vinicius Saudi Aarabia had met to hear their contract proposal and interest has accelerated the timeline for Real Madrid, who would like to keep him.

But for no price, and probably not from the One Vinicius' agents. Cadena SER reports that they have given Real Madrid three conditions to fulfill. First of all, Vinicius wants to earn more than Kylian Mbappe, who arrived this summer, and signed a € 15 million a year, comparable to what Vinicius now makes, but with a signing bonus of € 40 million.

Secondly, Vinicius would like to earn more than € 25 million net per year, and thirdly they are enthusiastic for Real Madrid's offer to 'compete' with that of Saudi Arabia. It is noted that Real Madrid has little intention to fulfill one of these three conditions if things are standing, which would make a switch to Saudi Arabia more likely. They say that Vinicius would reject an offer of € 20 million a year.

It was generally reported that Vinicius would earn € 1 billion during a five-year-old deal with Saudi Arabia if he would go to the Middle East, and for Real Madrid, 'compete' with that seems impossible. These are early stages in the negotiations, so this is probably a starting position for a player who wants to stay in Real Madrid, at least publicly. Nevertheless, it looks at least a difficult negotiation.
