Didier Deschamps doubted the suggestion that Kylian Mbappe would not occur in the next team of France, because he confirmed that the Real Madrid attacker returns to the fold.
Mbappe did not enter the French squadrons in October or November.
There was speculation of bad blood between Deschamps and Mbappe, who had Les Bleus leader.

“Of course he will be there. Why wouldn't he be? For very specific reasons [he was not included]”Deschamps told L'Equipe.
“But he will be there if nothing happens to him between now and then.
“He is very attached to the French team, even if he has had a complicated personal period. He is back in full fitness, and you see that in his game, and also in his head.”

Deschamps also stated that Mbappe missed the last international windows, would not have any influence on his ability to lead the team.
“It took some time, but it fell into place because he did everything that was needed,” said Deschamps.
“There have always been internal discussions, individual or collective, and and [the previous international break] Does not question his leadership.
“I have no reason today to say that he will not be a captain in March. But I will discuss with him, as we often do.”
After struggling in his first few months in Madrid, Mbappe has been in excellent form since the turn of the year and he scored 10 goals in all competitions so far in 2025.
