Carlo Ancelotti reacts to Vinicius Jr’s fresh Saudi Arabia transfer links

Carlo Ancelotti has become 'tired' of speculation that Vinicius Junior Real Madrid will leave to become a member of the Saudi Pro League, after the Brazilian reportedly rejected a new contract offer from Los Blancos last week.

Madrid would like to bind the 24-year-old to a new long-term agreement, after he was connected to a move last summer.

The negotiations opened between club and player about contract renewal, according to athletics, but the first offer of Madrid was rejected by the camp of Vinicius Jr.

To feed speculation about his future, it was reported earlier this week that the winger received a five -year -old deal worth £ 830 million to play in Saudi.

Ancelotti, however, was not worried about his starman who leaves for new meadows and noted that a step away from the Bernabeu was not discussed internally at the club.

“Yes, I'm tired of this topic, but I'm not worried,” Ancelotti said on Friday when he was asked about reports from Vinicius Jr who left Madrid.

“I see him happy and we are happy with him. There is nothing more to add with regard to what I said a week or two weeks ago.

'It is not a subject that we discuss here. He [Vinicius] Don't discuss it.

'Everything I can tell you is what I see here, he is happy, enthusiastic to do things well and write history with the club.

“I see the same Vinicius as always, very much to do things right.”

Reports from Spain previously claimed that the future of Vinicius JR might be away from the Bernabeu.

Vinicius JR is said to have met civil servants from Saudi Arabia, namely Vice -President Saad Al Lazez, in Prague in 2023 while they tried to convince him moving, according to Marca.

The conversations between the two parties have reportedly continued since then, with the Gulf State willing to offer him a five -year -old deal worth £ 830 million to join Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

Allegedly the deal would also see the attacker as an ambassador for the World Cup in 2034 in the country.

Members of his entourage are said to consider the proposal submitted as 'invaluable', although the player still has to make a fixed decision about his plans for the future.

When asked about the match against Manchester City on Tuesday about the speculation around his future, Vinicius insisted that he intended to continue his legacy in the Spanish capital for years.

He said: 'I have a contract until 2027, but I have always said that I want to play here for a long time, to be able to write history and receive the affection of the fans together with the president, all players and the coaching staff.

“And God prepared, hopefully all negotiations can be resolved in the coming days and I can stay here much longer.”
