Former Manchester United star Mason Greenwood is said to enjoy a quiet life abroad since he came to Marseille in July.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a flying start in Ligue 1, with the lead role managed by former Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi.
Greenwood is currently second in the score cards of the competition, after he has scored 13 times while they have contributed three assists this season to 21 performances for Les Olympiens.
According to a report from the sun, despite the feeling that his career is over in England, the 23-year-old enjoys his time in the south of France, where less control of supporters is confronted.
A source told the publication: 'He has one limit for England and it is unlikely that he will ever add to that.
“The control with which he is confronted in England would be a million times more than he had in France. For example, he once entered a gas station and someone called him a rapist and videos.
'That does not happen in Marseille, where he is most likely stopped and tells what a great player he is.
“He is not asked questions by the press and can concentrate on his football.”
It was decided that he would leave Man United after he was arrested in January 2022 before he was accused of attempted rape, abuse and controlling and compelling behavior.
The charges against Greenwood were withdrawn by the Crown Prosecution Service after the 'withdrawal of important witnesses and new material that comes to light'.
Earlier this week, Greenwood welcomed the birth of his second child with partner Harriet Robson, after the couple unveiled their first child, daughter Summer, in July 2023.
On Wednesday, Greenwood shared a photo of Harriet who held the summer in a Marseille match.
Both Harriet and the summer were depicted with the name of Greenwood and not 10 on the back of their shirts.
He wrote: “Happy birthday for the best partner and mother, we love you.”
The report also claimed that during his time Greenwood was aged during his time that his trade on the continent has activated and has become something.
“In France he has good influences around him,” the source continued.
'Manchester is a small city and you might wonder if the people who surrounded him had his best interests in heart and soul.
'In Marseille he goes out with teammates and not really hanging around with someone else.
“They are older, more mature, more advanced and seem protective to him. If they go out for a team time, Mason will probably not party. '
Greenwood made his solitary senior performance for England as a replacement in a 1-0 win over Iceland in the UEFA Nations League in August 2020.
Since then, the attacker has reportedly considered changing faith to represent Jamaica, with Reggae Boyz head coach Steve McClaren reportedly convinced him in motion.
