Thomas Frank greeted his “very honest” Brentford side after their hard-earned 1-0 win over West Ham.
Kevin's early strike was sufficient to seal three points for the bees, which have now won three consecutive Premier League matches for the first time.
The visitors were unfortunate not to go into the break with a greater advantage, where damage hit the mail and Yoane Wissa saw two goals that were not for the outside.
Nevertheless, they showed their defensive solidarity after the break to keep the hammers at bay, and Frank greeted the efforts of his players.
“[I am] Very happy, especially with the first half, “he said.” We were under control and dominated the first 45 minutes.
“The only and relatively large complaint was that we were not out of sight. I thought we could have been three goals. We had not allowed two, we had three or four other great opportunities and dangerous situations in which we had to Get more out of it.
“What I liked is that we had reasonable control over the second half. They had a good chance, but in addition, not too much. Win 1-0, with good solid defensive performance, [is] Very, very good.
“I have a very honest team that works hard. We played away against a good side and sometimes the nature of the game you can't stay at the top. In general, a completely honest and good victory.”

Frank also praised competition winner Damage, who scored in each of the three consecutive road victories of Brentford, while Wissa echoed the feelings of his manager.
“We see more and more good things from him,” said Frank. “He grows in the role. He plays and, more importantly, more consistently for many months.”
“We are absolutely happy with him,” Wissa added. “He has a good pace, he likes to score, but the first year is always difficult. Now he knows how to play. He is now on fire, so we have to focus high.”
In the meantime, it was a third defeat in four games for West Ham, who have not succeeded in winning one of the 14 Premier League matches this season in which they admitted the opening goal.
Graham Potter was made to rue the first half of his side, although he was satisfied by the way they responded after the break.
“The first half was not at all the show we want,” he said. “The goal influences the performance too much. We have to learn a lot from that.
“I was really happy with the reaction of the players in the second half when we really pushed. We were much more the way we wanted to be.
“I thought the three subs [Evan Ferguson, James Ward-Prowse and Ollie Scarles] Had a positive effect and changed the dynamics of the team. You can see what he [Ferguson] will bring to the team. There are positives from the second half there. “
