Retiring UFC fighter’s emotional speech gets interrupted as her daughter snatches mic and sings

An unlikely star arose during the newest event of the UFC in the Apex facility in Las Vegas.

In the UFC Vegas 102, Jared Cannonier survived two knockdowns to Ko Gregory Rodrigues.

Elsewhere on the map, Gabriel Bonfim Khaos put Williams to sleep and earned praise from Belal Muhammad before a controversial doctor's break led to his brother, Ismael Bonfim, lost via TKO against Nazim Sadykhov.

UFC Vegas 102, however, started with a bantam weight veteran with a 13-fight with retirement after a bloody beating.

Julia Avila's daughter steals the show

Julia Avila remained a bloody mess after the 15 -minute distance with Jacqueline Cavalcanti.

All three jury members of Cageside scored the fight 30-27 in favor of Avila's 9-1 opponent-but her victory was overshadowed by 'the furious panda' to put her gloves on the floor to indicate her retirement of MMA after the decision was announced.

“This is it,” said Avila when Daniel Cormier asked if she withdrew from MMA after her last defeat.

“I want to thank God for giving me the chance to fight in the world's best stage.”

Avila then went backstage to discuss her pension decision with collected members of the media.

The 36-year-old became emotional while he spoke about her legacy in the sport after he had not become a champion but her two-year-old daughter, Eris, who was sitting on her lap, did not seem interested in what she had to say.

Avila's little one puffing water from a bottle before taking the microphone and her singing voice shows off in a viral video called 'cute' by UFC fans.

The 135 pound Jager closed its last UFC press conference without a microphone before he was on his way to spend time with her young family.

Julia Avila had a career to be proud of

Avila started her career with a victory over UFC veteran Marion Reneau in January 2012.

Two fights later she achieved a big win over the future UFC flying weight champion Nicco Montaño.

Yet she had to wait until 2019 before she received a 6-1 run in Dana White's sport.

Avila took back-to-back victories in the UFC Octagon before lost to Sijara Eanks in September 2020.

A victory for the return of the BJJ specialist Julija Stoliarenko was enough to earn Avila a big fight.

The Californian had the opportunity to face UFC legend Miesha Tate in December 2023.

A defeat of the entry of the Face Crank led to a long resignation before she returned to UFC Vegas 102.

Avila is retiring with a hard-earned 9-4 record after mixing with the very best hunters of the past 13 years.
