Daniel Cormier wonders the focus of Alex Pereira on Magomed Ankalaev
During a recent episode of Good Guy/Bad Guy, Cormier explained what is most concerned with the upcoming fight by Pereira.
'Ankalaev is already [in Las Vegas]He is locked up, I met him at the UFC Pi last week. To be honest, he is so locked up, ready to win this fight against Alex Pereira, “said Cormier. '[Pereira] Was in Australia last week and shook Drake's hand while he went on stage for his concert … What still does Pereira do in Australia? He is fighting in two weeks!
“I am back from Australia and all week, I finished at three in the morning. I don't care that Pereira has weeks to get ready, he will be ready and will be prepared, but even those two to three extra days when he adjusts his clock to get back on schedule in Connecticut … he will must treat all those trips and all that difference in time. And where is Glover [Teixeira]? Is Glover just in Australia with him? Is it only he and plinio [Cruz]?
“Glover is the man, to be honest, that should do most of the work with Alex at the moment because of [Ankalaev’s] Struggling … Pereira should get home better, he has to come home and lock because he has the most difficult fight of his title government. “
Ankalaev secured the title shot by beating Aleksandar Rakić on UFC 308 in October. After winning, Ankalaev told Pereira to 'stop running away' from him in a fiery callout.
