Real Madrid star releases statement clarifying lack of criticism of referees

Real Madrid star Fede Valverde went to social media to explain why he was not involved in criticizing referees. The Uruguayan was set up for press strikes before their Champions League-Play-Off return bone with Manchester City, but neglected to discuss this when asked about this.

Los Blancos is currently working on a war with the referee in Spain, formally declared a letter of four pages to the president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) Rafael Louzan. In it they mentioned the official corrupt, manipulated and filthy.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti continued his complaints from the weekend in his press conference and explained that he felt that Real Madrid was clearly damaged by the referees. However, Valverde was much more optimistic about this issue, and noted that it was neither his place to judge, and to admit that they are human and therefore can make mistakes.

But just over an hour after the press rights were closed, Valverde went to Twitter/X to clarify his thoughts about this.

“I don't want someone to misunderstand me, but above all I want to clarify for our fans: if I don't talk today about the referee we suffer, it's because I know myself, and I have to concentrate tomorrow.”

“Everyone has seen what happens to us in this competition, and I don't forget it, but now we have to concentrate on tomorrow, and I will be 100% as I have always been.”

This is the latest indication that Real Madrid takes a uniform line about criticizing the referee in La Liga, whereby Ancelotti also cancel his complaints in recent weeks. Referee Jose Luis Munuera Montero, who was heavily criticized during the weekend for his performance during the 1-1 draw of Real Madrid against Osasuna, received death threats during the weekend. The Referee Committee (CTA) then criticized the dangerous discourse and noticed its violent consequences.
