
Firas Zahabi, coach of both Georges St-Pierre and Calvin Kattar, is in hot water after his Star student was accused of 'cheating via Vaseline'.
At UFC Vegas 102, the rising competitor of featherweight Youssef Zalal scored a decision victory on Calvin Kattar in what was undoubtedly the biggest victory of his professional career.
Since then, however, a dark cloud has hung over that result after Zalal accused 'the Boston Finisher' of being greased to the gills with Vaseline, making it more difficult to protect Takedowns.

Youssef Zalal has now offered more details about his lubrication claim against UFC star Calvin Kattar, even so far that he mentions the earlier allegations of Georges St-Pierre as proof that this is a repeated attack by veteran coach Firas Zahabi.
“Hey, a quick message to Firas – stop placing Vaseline on the brother of your people, stop placing Vaseline on your athletes,” he complained earlier this week via the Ariel Helwani show.
'Fight like a fight, you don't have to cheat Bro … you're so good here [pointing to his head] So use it – you don't have to cheat Bro, I have never felt anyone in my life that was so greasy.
“Bro, look at the third round, and I hope you can place it there at the peak – see how deep that shot is and see how smooth he just slid [out]. “
Zahabi previously led Georges St-Pierre to UFC Gold and Glory; Although the legendary former champion was also accused of 'greased' for several of his fights – in particular against BJ Penn, in what was later called 'Grease Gate' by both fans and media.

After his decision victory on Calvin Kattar at UFC Vegas 102, Youssef Zalal would call Brian Ortega for a final fight on 145LB before 'T-City' goes to lightweight.
“Hey, I have heard that Brian Ortega is trying to leave for 155 pounds, I will give him another round in the 145LB division and I will show him what's going on … I am excited, it can be possible I don't care who they give me [next]; I'm ready. “
After the event, Zalal would also call Yair 'El Pantera' Rodriguez as a possible alternative opponent, adding that his goal is for 2025 to head his own Fight Night event.
