Juve, AC Milan and Atalanta were all bundled out of the competition this week.
Capello said last night about Juve's defeat on PSV: “In the first half, Juventus pressed well and created problems for PSV. In the second half, however, the team remained very static.
“Only in the second half of extra time did they start playing again with the intensity of the first half, but unfortunately (Dusan) Vlahovic's shot that hit the mail was an unfortunate episode.”
Capello also emphasized the limitations of all three Italian teams and stated on Sky Italia: “Juventus' difficulty was clear, as well as several mistakes. The team was not lucid. In general, all three suffered the eliminated Italian teams from the pace and intensity of their Opponents.
“We went back a bit: we are not used to being subjected to this pressure.”
