Real Madrid and England star Jude Bellingham is branded as “fake” by Real Mallorca defender Pablo Maffeo.
The couple was opposite when Madrid met Mallorca during the Supercopa de Espana, which was held in Saudi Arabia in January. Speaking about his meeting with Bellingham, an angry crazy man stated that the former Borussia Dortmund star has two faces.
Maffeo, 27, unloaded the Three Lions star after being asked who he prefers from Bellingham and Vinicius JR – two players with whom he crashes routinely. “I tell you what I think or … I swear that I think Vinicius is better because you see him and he is impulsive like me, he comes on you,” Maffeo told La Zona 10.
“The other [Bellingham] Comes from behind. So it's a bit like what happens to me in real life: “Hey, you can't. Good, but say it to my face. ” If you play the Lord, the polite boy, but then insult or you choose your colleagues from behind, then you are fake.
'Come face to eye, it's okay. I don't like you, you already know that, but don't all trade fun and then … so who am I preferred about the two? I prefer Vinicius because I know what he is like. “
The Fall -Out with Maffeo, which was once in the youth of Manchester City, is not the only controversy that Bellingham recently plagued. The 21-year-old received a red card last Saturday in the 1-1 draw of Madrid with Osasuna.
The midfielder of England claimed that his resignation was due to a misunderstanding with referee Jose Munuera. He was supposed to have shown 'lack of respect' towards Munuera and is now exiled for two La Liga competitions.
After the match, Bellingham said: “I never insulted the referee, I am happy to see that there are videos to show reality despite the referee's report.”
Madrid is currently second in La Liga about goal difference behind Rivals Barcelona. Los Blancos, however, booked their place in the Champions League the last 16 after they blew away on Wednesday evening in the Spanish capital in the Spanish capital Pep Guardiola's city (6-3 on aggregated) thanks to a sublime hat trick from Kylian Mbappe.
Maffeo spent a number of years with City after he arrived at their U18 side from Espanyol in 2013, but would only appear in their first team. He then had spells on loan from Girona before he arrived at the German side Stuttgart in 2018. A switch to Mallorca followed in 2022.
