Patricio ‘Pitbull’ avenged his brother by knocking out Michael Chandler in shock 61-second fight

The career of Patricio Pitbull in Bellator was filled with incredible performances and brutal knockouts, but not much were better than his Ko about Michael Chandler.

Patricio Pitbull goes down as one of the greatest hunters in the history of Bellator MMA who has won featherweight and lightweight gold during his 14-year term of office.

Unfortunately, his time with Bellator ended relatively sour, because Pitbull constantly evoked his release and claimed that PFL did not offer him any fighting after they had taken over Bellator.

Nevertheless, his wish was finally granted earlier this year when he was released by the PFL after months of online disputes. It was then announced last Wednesday by Dana White, which Pitbull will make his UFC debut against Yair Rodriguez on UFC 314.

Patricio Pitbull threw his brother with a huge Ko against Michael Chandler

One of, if not the biggest scalp of his career so far, was when Pitbull took Michael Chandler for the Bellator Lightweight title in 2019.

Only three years earlier, 'Iron' Mike Patricio's brother, Patricky Pitbull had made unconscious, when the two met for the empty lightweight title.

After he had lost the title and then renovated the title, Chandler booked his deficiency defense against Patricio at Bellator 221, looking for him unconscious as he did his brother.

Months of bad blood during the run -up to the fight resulted in the fact that it was one of the most expected fights in the history of the promotion and it was brought to bed after a minute.

Both light weights quickly came out of the blocks to take the center of the cage. Just a minute in the fight Pitbull landed a large right hand when Chandler would close the distance and dropped him to the canvas.

The Brazilian dived on Chandler when he ran on his stomach and Pitbull began to rule soil and pound before the referee quickly entered the loss of his brother with Pitbull.

Patricio Pitbull and Michael Chandler will both compete on UFC 314

Before Pitbull was signed at the UFC, Pitbull was generally considered one of the greatest hunters who never participated under the UFC banner.

Finally, the 37-year-old will finally make his promotion debut on April 12 when he takes on Yair Rodriguez on UFC 314.

Chandler will participate in the Co-Main event in Miami and Maddy Pimblett will include in a five-round fight.

Because he is a big name in sport, a victory over Rodriguez Pitbull could earn a shot in the featherweight title, for which it is taken between Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes after Ilia Topuria had left the title.
