An AI-SUPERCOMPUTER simulated the draw for the last 16 of the Champions League after the end of the play-off round on Wednesday evening.
The play-offs threw countless surprises because the European giants AC Milan, Juventus and Manchester City all suffer an early exit.
Now a supercomputer has shared his predictions for the next round of the competition in what is mixed news for English clubs.
Arsenal and Aston Villa are both predicted that they will suffer shocks through their last 16 opponents – with a prediction that they will defeat Dortmund respectively by PSV and Borussia.
However, it is better news for the current Premier League leaders Liverpool, which is predicted that they will overcome the Portuguese side Benfica 8-3 in total over two legs.

The machine then simulates the remaining games 10,000 times in a season and builds an average competition table from the subsequent simulations, to exclude different results.
