The search from Stade de Reims for a new head coach ended after the resignation of Luka Elsner when the caretaker Samba Diawara was confirmed in the role. The new man has already been in charge of three games in all matches with Reims that still has to score this season.
The likely return of the club captain Teddy Teuma to the Line -Up will be the big head for Reims. The midfielder had fallen out of grace under Elsner and only played as a replacement in the 1-0 defeat of last weekend against Angers SCO for Diawara.
In defense, former Barcelona B-Man Sergio Akieme took a suspension for this match, which means that Hiroki Sekine will get his first start of the competition after he earned his first start under Diawara during the Coupe de France match against amateur side Bourgo-Jallieu.
